The University of Southern Mississippi is comprised of more than 140 undergraduate academic programs, including top programs in Mississippi for Nursing, Education, Accounting, and Social Work. Southern Miss also houses the states only Bachelor's of Science in Ocean Engineering. There are three ways of learning, the Hattiesburg Campus, the Gulf Park Campus, and Online. The Gulf Park Campus campus is the only beachfront campus is the state of Mississippi.

At Ole Miss Pharmacy, our unique atmosphere of support and fellowship, combined with our exceptional classroom, lab and practice experiences, prepare you to do the vital work of a pharmacist or researcher. Located on one of the most beautiful campuses in America, Ole Miss Pharmacy is a leader in health care education and research, leading our students to innovate and care for patients in Mississippi and beyond.
The School of Pharmacy offers the Doctor of Pharmacy degree as the entry-level practice degree. At Ole Miss, there are multiple pathways into the professional program, including our Early Entry and Pre-Pharmacy programs. A minimum of seven years is required to obtain the Doctor of Pharmacy degree after graduation from high school. The seven years consists of a three year pre-professional component and a four year professional component. A Bachelor's of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree is awarded after successful completion of the first professional year and is a prerequisite to completing the remaining three years.
The school also offers a master's in pharmaceutical sciences and doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences through our three graduate programs.

Verto Education offers an affordable, travel based first semester or year of college. Through field based courses focused on cultural immersion and self-discovery, students will earn 16 credit transfers that count towards graduation requirements. Verto students can apply to and receive admission decisions from any of Verto's 50+ partner colleges.
